Blanche Mijonnet is a French interior architect and designer who lives and works between Paris and Lausanne. A graduate of École Camondo and the MAS Design for Luxury and Craftsmanship at ECAL, following time at Glasgow School of Art, her projects blend rigour, gentleness and poetry. Playing across scales, from space to object, she creates with equal attention to exceptional craftsmanship and industry a vision of design that is empathetic and joyful. Her work draws from her fascination with artisanal expertise which she seeks to explore in order to reveal the unexpected evidence hidden at the heart of matter as well as the narrative power of gestures and colours.

Pyjama Party
Occupying Villa Noailles, this celebration takes the form of a soft, luminous, and enveloping furniture-architecture installation. Inspired by memories of a childhood summer in Provence, it brings together woven baskets, flowers, warm light, Provençal textiles, canopy beds, and oversized furniture that evokes a child’s perspective. These elements compose a domestic and vernacular landscape, reinterpreted as an inviting and emotionally resonant map.

At the heart of the project are the Indiennes d’Arles textiles, a craft tradition renowned worldwide, here placed in the spotlight and experienced fully through immersion in a striking solar yellow. The pattern becomes a space to inhabit; the colour, a celebration to be shared.
