Silent remains
My collection is a form of resistance to standardisation and an invitation to reconnect with imperfection, accident and emotion.
Ballerina flats, heels, boots and biomimetic sculptures: these pieces revisit and reinterpret baroque aesthetics through contemporary craftsmanship. To achieve this, I used several techniques: 3D printing with flexible filaments, leatherwork for the sheathing, and lost wax casting to create the silver pieces. Fauna, flora and minerals are my source of inspiration: their organic morphology contrasts with the rational rigour of our era. This formal language, drawn from the living world, is combined with modern industrial production to create objects that are both archaic and contemporary.
These everyday, inclusive accessories, available in sizes 36 to 46, are not meant to remain frozen in their original state. With wear, they develop a patina and transform. It is in their slow alteration that their unique beauty is revealed.
