“Copyright for Everyone”
with Guillaume Lanneau, president of SAIF.

at Villa Noailles
As part of the Graphic Design Encounters in Hyères, organized in partnership with the Lycée professionnel du Golf Hôtel on April 17, 18 and 19, SAIF (Society of Authors of Visual Arts and Still Images) organizes a public meeting.
Copyright for Everyone with Guillaume Lanneau, graphic designer and set designer, president of SAIF at Villa Noailles, Hyères.
SAIF was created 25 years ago with the goal of enabling all visual arts authors to make copyright concrete and tangible.
By purchasing a social share for €15.24, you become a lifetime member (reimbursed in case of resignation).
SAIF compensates all its members every year, provides them with legal support, and finances through cultural action nearly 130 events, exhibitions, meetings, awards and grants.
SAIF is a tool that brings together 8,500 authors, on equal footing regardless of their reputation or seniority.
After 16 years of legal procedures and legislative battles, it has, for example, obtained an agreement with Google, which now compensates authors for the use it makes of their images.
Whether it’s social media or artificial intelligence, there are still many battles to be fought.
SAIF is the result of mutual interest: by becoming a member, authors receive rights that were slipping away from them, and the more members SAIF has, the stronger it is to negotiate new rights.
Joining an Authors’ Society must become a professional reflex.
