Stéven Coëffic, Bordant

Working with Hyères-based company Bob Carrelage, the designer has created a collection of five decorative and functional tiles. The tiles are manufactured in the Alain Vagh workshop in the town of Salernes, located in the Var, famous for its red earth, commonly used to produce floor tiles.
Five enamel colours, five designs, three of which are in relief: the many possible combinations reveal the volumes created by the ceramic rectangles. Stéven Coëffic creates frames, hook,s and shelves that you can assemble as you wish. As an illustration of these multiple possibilities, he has designed Bob’s kitchen and will soon be presenting a shower room in the company’s showroom.
Somewhere between abstract painting and design, Bordant is in line with the designer’s productions, intended to bring elements that are both decorative and useful to the home.
