The projects of the students of the Camondo Méditerranée school

Through the installation “Couleurs du jour”, the students from the école Camondo question the aesthetic identity of Toulon places just for a season, fragments of cityscapes captured at different times of the day. The vinyl prints, made outdoors facing the image, seized on the structures attest to an instantaneous experience. Evolutive variations of lights and colours invite us to perceive abstract and polyphonic landscapes. This new project led by Valentin Dubois at Monique boutique, an iconic place of Toulon city centre, is intended to rouse the look and the imagination. Founded 75 years ago, the école Camondo is an entity of the Decorative Arts (consisting of the MAD, the Nissim de Camondo Museum, and the Ateliers du Carrousel), a leading French cultural institution, whose collection stands as one of the most important in the world. Benefiting from a unique position thanks to its dual presence in France with Camondo Paris and Camondo Méditerranée in Toulon, the school awards a Level 7 diploma certified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, Bac +5 conferring the master’s degree.
