“Diesel Memories” par Emmanuelle Luciani x Southway Studio

As an extension of “History of Fantasy: Part II” (2023) and “Drive to Survive” (2022), Emmanuelle Luciani and Southway Studio create for the Design Parade 2023 in Toulon a total immersion among the aesthetic series “Diesel Memories” by Bella Hunt & Ddc and the neo-romantic works of Jenna Kaës, installed under the acidic shadows of Léa Porté’s video installation and the futuristic sound waves of Moodoïd. Midway between the sharp contours of automotive parts and the metallic harnessing of tournament chivalry, “Diesel Memories” pays homage to fantasies linked to the machine, the car and the armor, and to a whole retro-futuristic space opera imaginary.
