Harry Nuriev’s installation at Design Parade Toulon explores how design can shift, adapt, and communicate in unexpected ways. Rooted in the concept of Transformism – a philosophy he coined to describe the continuous evolution of objects and their meanings – Nuriev dissolves the boundary between object and message, function and emotion.
Here, furniture moves beyond its traditional role and becomes a language. Chairs, lamps, and sculptural forms act as messengers, exploring how we connect with space, others, and ourselves. Materials shift meaning; forms challenge conventional limits.
Rather than presenting a static environment, Nuriev intrigues viewers with a space that invites active engagement with design’s transformative ideas. The installation questions familiar perceptions and prompts reflection on how objects – and the ways we communicate – are constantly evolving.
