Delisle 130 Years: Excellence as Heritage, Light as Signature.

Some events are just a matter of course. Since 2022, Maison Delisle has found in Design Parade Toulon a partner with heart and soul. Four years of collaboration, encounters and shared projects based on a common vision: to bring together excellent craftsmanship and contemporary creation, to celebrate fine craftsmanship while supporting the enthusiasm of the younger generation.

In 2025, our presence at the Design Parade takes on a very special dimension. We are celebrating 130 years of the Maison Delisle. A symbolic and powerful way to celebrate this longevity, where innovation, transmission and creative freedom are at the heart of the theme. Once again, the Villa Noailles oOers us a unique setting where heritage and modernity meet in a demanding and benevolent manner.

To mark the occasion, the Maison Delisle has designed a scenographic journey through 130 years of aesthetic and technical research. Rather than a confrontation between past and present, it is a living continuity that expresses itself, where each era nourishes the other, and where yesterday’s creations illuminate those of today.

Some emblematic pieces, taken from our archives, become a medium of memory and transmission. They stand side by side with recent works, such as those by Edgar Jayet, winner of the Van Cleef & Arpels Grand Prix at the Toulon 2021 Design Parade, who boldly explores a renewed vision of our savoir-faire by reinterpreting a classic House model: the Bouillotte lamp. The ensemble is staged by Hugo Drubay, designer and interior architect, winner of the Prix du Mobilier National at the 2019 Design Parade. His proposal shows a House in motion, faithful to its heritage but resolutely anchored in its time.

Since 1895, Delisle has been bringing rare craftsmanship to life: wrought ironwork, bronze work, leaf gilding, patinas, custom assembly. These precise gestures, handed down and constantly reinterpreted, create an aesthetic language that spans styles from classic to contemporary, with a particular attachment to Art Deco.

What unites us at the Design Parade is our shared desire to circulate knowledge, to provoke encounters between generations, disciplines and sensibilities. This event is a living space, where contemporary creation draws on the heritage of craftsmanship to invent new forms of dialogue. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to Design Parade Toulon, Villa Noailles and all those who bring this project to life, for once again allowing us to share our history with them. We would also like to express our gratitude to our partners, Pierre Frey, Codimat and Farrow & Ball, for their loyal commitment and the wonderful solidarity between houses of excellence that gives this exhibition its full meaning.
