Selection
A jury composed of professionals will convene around February 20, 2025, to select the 10 designers who will be exhibited for this new edition of the Festival.
The results will be announced live on social media @villanoailles and then on the website villanoailles.com (no responses will be given by phone). The announcement date will be communicated in early February 2025 on social media and via newsletter (click here to subscribe).
In case of your selection:
- You will be contacted by the festival team to discuss the presentation of your work.
- You will need to provide the festival with your documents (digital files) for communication (catalog, digital, etc.).
- You will participate in a two-day stay in Paris to meet the Festival’s partners who sponsor the prizes.
- You will be required to create a furniture model as part of the Tectona Prize, in addition to your personal project.
- You must commit to being in Hyères for about ten days during the festival period (accommodation and meals will be provided by the festival).
Note:
All selected finalists commit to following and respecting the program (any modifications may be made at the organizers’ discretion).
The decisions of the jury made during the selection and during the festival are final.
THEREFORE, YOU MUST:
- Provide the Festival with your documents (texts and images of your projects).
- Commit by contract to be present in Hyères from June 22 to June 29, 2025, inclusive. Accommodation and meals will be provided by the Festival.
NOTE:
All candidates who participated in the second stage and were not selected will be informed of the results the week following the selection, by email (no responses will be given by phone).
All selected designers commit to following and respecting the program (any modifications may be made at the organizers’ discretion).
The decisions of the jury, made during the selection and during the festival, are final.
All selected designers agree to provide their portfolios and presentation files for the Festival’s archives.
The finalists agree to communicate to the teams at Villa Noailles (direction@villanoailles.com) their proposals for post-festival collaborations with companies partnering with the Festival and with competitors or those operating in the same sector in Europe as the festival’s partner companies, during the year of the festival and the year following the Festival, until December 31, 2026.
Other collaborations, not yet determined, with Festival partners may arise.
