Rules and Regulations

To Participate, Follow the Steps Below Carefully:

• The competition is open to all fashion designers aged 18 and above.
• Collective applications (DUOS ONLY) are accepted.
• Only men’s, women’s, or non-gendered collections are accepted. Mixed collections will be refused.
• The use of eco-responsible materials or processes is highly encouraged.

We urge you to create a new collection. Previously presented collections will not be favored.

Register by December 6, 2024, on our website via the registration form.

Compile and send your file (one outfit and a complete file) by December 6, 2024. Your file MUST include:

1. One complete outfit created for this collection (including accessories).
2. One complete outfit from your collection.
3. A well-thought-out and professional visual representation of the already completed outfit for this collection: photos of the outfit worn (if possible, of the entire collection). If not possible, sketches of the complete collection.
4. Seven sketches of seven complete outfits.
5. A detailed description of the fashion show you wish to present (music, ambiance, type of model, hair & make-up).
6. A cover letter and a CV detailing your education and activities in fashion.
7. A page listing the personalities you would like to see on the jury (maximum of 5 people).
8. A high-resolution, royalty-free image (jpg file, 20x30cm at 300 dpi) of what you are presenting in the competition. This will be used for communication if you are selected by the jury.

The jury will meet in January 2025 to select the 10 candidates who will participate in the festival. The results will be announced live on social media @villanoailles and then on the website villanoailles.com.
