Taylor, I Love You
The sun is shining, the heat is rising.
It’s the big day: The Eras Tour.
In the colourful crowd, young women walk forward, confident and radiant. Cowboy boots, impeccable hairstyles, glittery make-up, sparkling dresses and friendship bracelets.
They are free and uninhibited. They are here for their idol. But beyond the music, they are united for something greater: a space where they can fully be themselves, without judgement or sadness. I knew nothing about Taylor, but through her Swifties I discovered a world where a huge community thrives. It is a sanctuary, a vast refuge for healing, loving and belonging.
This is a documentary series at the heart of the cultural and emotional phenomenon of fan groups. It is a profound and sincere exploration of what it means to be human today, at a time when the boundaries between the real and the virtual are blurring and new ways of loving, gathering and recognising each other are emerging.
Viewers are immersed in the colours, sounds and energy of these gatherings, ranging from gigantic concerts to intimate conversations. The tone, both introspective and universal, invites us to see these fans not as clichés but as mirrors of ourselves.
Taylor, I Love You is a love letter to the communities that save and inspire us. A series where everyone can find a piece of themselves, Swiftie or not.
