Nastia
In botany, nastia refers to the fleeting movements of plants in response to stimuli, such as Mimosa pudica, which folds its leaves at the slightest touch. This plant intelligence inspired Nastia, a collection of dynamic jewellery that interacts sensitively with the body.
Nastia is based on a unique technique: active tension structures, a 3D printing technique on textiles that transforms the dual material into a living organism. The pieces unfold or fold according to movement thanks to bistable structures. As part of an eco-design approach, the collection uses recycled materials to give them new life in the form of modular and evolving objects.
Its shapes and colours evoke tropical flora, a sensitive memory of Honduras, and translate the energy and lightness of vibrant vegetation into precious and active objects.
