ACCESSORIES WORKSHOP: WORKING WITH CARDBOARD
Saturday, October 12 from 10 AM to 12 PM
Sunday, October 13 from 10 AM to 12 PM
Lucie Lascaux and Simon Valabrègue offer a workshop on creating fashion accessories through various techniques involving wet cardboard. These techniques are inspired by architecture and the act of construction; they aim to remain as true to the material as possible by working with its physical properties rather than attempting to force it. Humble cardboard, rigid yet malleable, allows for the free creation of volumes. This method is akin to draping (in fashion or sculpture), a way to guide the material through simple, manual gestures.
