Lucas Emilio Brunner, Lauréat du Grand Prix du Jury Mode 2025

The new project is based on a curatorial practice rooted in a strict serial protocol: each season, a mass-market object is singled out, dissected in terms of its formal and structural properties, and then translated into a clothing line. Following the umbrella and the party balloon, this third collection continues the series by exploring a new object, whose construction, folding, and surface characteristics generate a distinct, draped, and graphic language. The collection is unisex, designed without gender distinction.

Lucas Emilio Brunner (b. 1999) is a Swiss-Chilean designer whose practice is rooted in the transformation of everyday objects into a language of clothing, blending formal experimentation with craftsmanship. After studying at La Cambre Mode(s) in Brussels, he joined Palomo Spain and later Maison Margiela, where he worked on the Artisanale line. Winner of the Grand Prix du Jury Mode at the 2025 Hyères International Festival, the artist has made a name for himself through his unique and experimental vision of clothing.
