Atelier collaboratif de paille tressée avec Emma Bruschi proposé par la Galerie du 19M
At the invitation of la Galerie du 19M, Emma Bruschi has created—as part of the exhibition “ Metamorphoses, the Hats of Maison Michel ”— a participatory workshop centered on straw weaving. Through the creation of brooches made from rye ears, the artist invites the public to discover this material, which she grows herself with her family in Haute-Savoie.
The first recipient of le19M Métiers d’art Prize in 2020 and a loyal friend of le19M, Emma Bruschi has developed a practice that explores the connections between material, territory, and clothing. A series of straw pieces presented in the exhibition showcases this work, from the plant to the garment.
