With Olga Jegunova, pianist, and Bérengère Warluzel, narrator
Composed by Serge Prokofiev in 1936, this work is among the most cherished musical stories for young audiences. This timeless classic tells a tale of friendship and courage, while celebrating a love of animals. This interactive concert offers children a space in which to let their imagination run free, to discover classical music in a lively, engaging way, and to become active participants in their own musical experience.
Olga Jegunova is a multifaceted pianist whose work bridges different genres and artistic disciplines. A laureate of several international competitions, she performs regularly at renowned festivals such as the Edinburgh International Festival and the Harrogate International Festival. Another strand of her artistic career includes music journalism, teaching and philanthropy.
Artistic director of the “Les Nocturnes” festival in Solliès-Pont, which she founded in 2024, she is also responsible for programming family concerts at the “Nuits du Château de la Moutte” in Saint-Tropez. She pays particular attention to young audiences and to promoting children’s access to classical music.
Bérengère Warluzel, actress and adaptor, collaborates with prestigious institutions such as the Théâtre National de Nice, the Théâtre National de Gennevilliers, La Criée – Théâtre National de Marseille, and Anthéa – Antipolis in Antibes.
Passionate about music, she maintains a special connection with this art form. She has worked as an assistant director and stage manager at the Paris Opéra, and has also directed a musical performance at the Opéra Royal de Versailles about Queen Marie-Antoinette. She is also the assistant to conductor Daniel Oren, accompanying him on his productions in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
She is currently performing as Hannah Arendt in a one-woman show, Fragments, and as Maria Montessori in Montessori, both directed by Charles Berling, as well as in two plays by Lars Norén. Her voice can also be heard in podcasts and readings on Radio France.
