Maxime Mouroux & Manon Daviet
the 27 June 2019
Manon Daviet and Maxime Mouroux are two young designers based in Paris.
In their respective workshops they create rugs and tapestries in tufted wool, which they design like paintings. Their themes vary according to their inspirations: geometry, landscapes, architecture…
From the initial design to its production, they control all of the different stages. Committed to an approach that is based on quality, they have chosen to work with pure wool that is spun and dyed in France. Their works are created both as unique items and in small production series. They are equally suited for decorating both private residences as well as public spaces.
For Design Parade they have decided to work on a common theme: nature. Water, rocks, plants, and the moon are just some of the elements that these two artists have chosen to depict. They have also elected, especially for the festival, to produce large format works that will allow for a total immersion within their universe.
