Déchets rethinking the life cycle of agricultural waste
Phillys Januel
Phillys Januel’s project concerns the recycling of apple waste from agricultural production. Noting that a large quantity of waste, which cannot be reused because it is too acidic for the soil, remained after the production of juice, he was led to reconsider this substance as a resource and a new available material. His project was to create an apple juice tasting experience. The idea was to offer different containers: apple bowls, apple straws and a traditional glass for comparison. He wanted to make it a fun, even unsettling experience, to see whether the container had an influence on the taste, the feeling or the perception of the experience.Les soins invisibles, care design thinking for the benefit of care environments.
Lilou Qvistgaard
Lilou Qvistgaard’s work focuses on motricity and how to hold cutlery at the table, and is the result of her observations during pastry-making workshops in occupational therapy sessions with people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease in nursing homes. Using an ergonomic, therapeutic and playful approach, she has designed orthoses to help people hold cutlery better.
